Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of pawhala.com and the Pawhala application, operated by BBE Retail LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Pawhala analyzes a résumé against a job description and generates an optimized résumé and cover letter using automated and AI systems. Output may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing everything for accuracy before you use it, and for ensuring it truthfully represents your experience. Do not use Pawhala to fabricate credentials, employment, or qualifications.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Accounts are for a single person and may not be shared.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service unlawfully or to violate the rights of others.
• Do not upload another person’s personal information without the right to do so.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the service, or attempt to bypass plan limits or security.
• Do not submit content that is abusive, infringing, or designed to misuse the AI systems.

Plans and billing

The Free plan includes a limited number of optimizations and cover letters per month. The Pro plan is US $12 per month, billed through Stripe. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change on advance notice, effective at your next renewal.

Refunds

Payments for a billing period are generally non-refundable, including for partial use. If you believe you were billed in error, contact hello@pawhala.com and we will work with you in good faith.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the content you provide and to the résumés and cover letters generated for you. We keep all rights to the Pawhala software, design, and brand. You may not copy or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that an optimized résumé will pass any applicant tracking system, or result in interviews or employment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBE Retail LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you are on the Free plan.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
