Accessibility
We want Pawhala to be usable by as many people as possible, and we treat accessibility as part of the product rather than an afterthought. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What’s in place
Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus outlines. The interface respects the operating system’s reduce motion setting and neutralises animation when it’s on. Text and controls are designed to meet AA contrast in both the light and dark themes. Forms use real labels and report errors in text, not colour alone.
Known limitations
Some data-dense views in the app and the résumé preview are still being reviewed for screen-reader semantics. Generated PDF exports follow a fixed layout and may not carry a full tag tree. We’re working through these.
Report a barrier
If something blocks you from using Pawhala, tell us what and where: hello@pawhala.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable period and prioritise fixes that remove access barriers.
